Remember

In the UK we do not know how many trans people are dying preventable and premature deaths. No official body is holistically counting, and the various statistics that do exist are incomplete, lack detail, or do not properly represent trans people.

Every single preventable or premature death is one too many. The community knows that far too many people are dying. However, there is no complete UK memorial for trans people, to collectively remember and honour everyone who has died.

We want to change that. We are asking bereaved people to tell us about those who have died, so we can build a community evidence base. This will inform a future co-created public memorial, create data and evidence, and enable action.

Fill in the form below or here to tell us about a person who died. If you’d like to send photos or documents, or learn more, email translivescic@gmail.com.

If you’d like to get involved in the project and shape what we do this information, learn how.
